Owners are most welcome and encouraged to visit The Cottage Boarding Cattery to inspect the premises and
facilities before boarding their cat.

The Cattery is in a quiet country setting in the grounds of Rose Cottage.
It has views over paddocks and farmland with plenty of wildlife to keep the boarders amused.
The accommodation consists of spacious individually heated chalets with window and window seat.
Each has its own adjoining covered exercise area with a sunning shelf and scratching post and is
accessed throughout the day by a cat flap from the chalet.
There are nineteen chalets that are large enough to accommodate two cats and two that can take
up to four. Only cats from the same household can share accommodation.
There is a generous space between each run so that while each cat can see its neighbour there is
no danger of cats from different families coming into contact with one another.

FEEDING REQUIREMENTS
We can cater for virtually any individual cat's diet and prescription diets, provided by owners,
can also be continued during boarding; all meals are prepared and stored in hygienic conditions.
Additional attention is given to elderly cats, kittens and those with special needs.
HEALTH CARE
Should it be necessary, veterinary attendance is assured. Any treatment prescribed by a veterinary
surgeon prior to boarding can be continued during your cat's stay.

All cats must be immunised against Feline Infectious Enteritis and Upper Respiratory Infections
(Cat 'Flu) and a valid vaccination certificate must be produced upon arrival.
Boosters must have been administered no less than seven days before boarding.
In order to keep the Cattery a flea-free zone, we ask that owners protect their cats
particularly during April - October. Regular worming also helps to ensure good health.
Male cats over the age of seven months, which have not been neutered, will not be accepted for
boarding as they may present an infection hazard.
